Our Mission

At Willow Springs Church, our mission is simple and biblical:
To make devoted followers of Jesus Christ who grow in grace and truth, strengthening the church and blessing the community.

We believe spiritual growth happens through:

  • Teaching God’s Word clearly and faithfully

  • Worshipping together in Spirit and truth

  • Living out the Gospel through service, fellowship, and love

Our Vision

We envision a church where people of all ages and backgrounds can:

  • Know Christ deeply – Discover a lasting relationship with Jesus as the source of true fulfillment
  • Grow spiritually – Learn to walk in grace, wisdom, and obedience through the guidance of God’s Word
  • Live missionally – Share God’s love with others through generous service and Gospel-centered outreach
  • Strengthen families and community – Be a light in Social Circle and beyond by building up homes, neighborhoods, and hearts through the love of Christ

Our desire is to see every person connected, growing, and using their gifts to glorify God and bless others.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s Word and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the hope of the world. These convictions form the foundation of Willow Springs Church and shape all that we preach, teach, believe, and practice.

The Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired by God and is God’s revelation of Himself to humanity. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. Therefore, all Scripture is totally true and trustworthy. The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, conduct, and church practice.

God

We believe there is one and only one living and true God. He is eternal, holy, sovereign, all-powerful, all-knowing, and perfectly good. God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons, yet one God, without division of nature, essence, or being.

God the Father

We believe God the Father reigns with providential care over His creation, His creatures, and the flow of human history according to His gracious purposes. He is fatherly in His attitude toward all people and is truly Father to those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He perfectly revealed and obeyed the will of God, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the substitutionary sacrifice for sinners, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, intercedes for His people, and will return personally and visibly in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He inspired the writing of Scripture, convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and brings sinners to faith in Christ. He regenerates, indwells, seals, sanctifies, comforts, teaches, and empowers every believer for godly living, faithful service, and Gospel witness.

Humanity

We believe every person is created by God in His image and therefore possesses dignity, worth, and value. Humanity was created to glorify God and enjoy fellowship with Him. Through the sin of Adam, humanity fell from innocence, and all people inherit a sinful nature and are separated from God. Every person is in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe salvation is the gracious gift of God, received by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is not earned by human effort, religious works, or personal merit, but is made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those who trust in Christ are forgiven, justified, adopted into God’s family, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and given eternal life.

The Church

We believe a New Testament church is a local congregation of baptized believers who are united by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel. The church exists to worship God, preach and teach His Word, make disciples, observe the ordinances, serve one another, and proclaim the Gospel to the world. Jesus Christ is the head of the church, and Scripture is the church’s final authority.

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Baptism is an act of obedience that symbolizes the believer’s faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior.

We believe the Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience by which believers remember the death of Jesus Christ, proclaim His sacrifice, examine themselves, and look forward to His return.

Prayer

We believe in the power and necessity of prayer. God hears His people, cares for them, and invites them to come before Him in faith. Prayer is an act of worship, dependence, confession, thanksgiving, and trust in the living God.

Evangelism and Discipleship

We believe every follower of Christ is called to make disciples. The mission of the church is to proclaim the Gospel, teach the truth of God’s Word, equip believers for faithful service, and help people grow in grace, truth, and obedience to Christ.

Apologetics and Sound Doctrine

We believe Christians are called to contend for the faith once for all delivered to the saints and to be ready to give an answer for the hope within them with gentleness and respect. Therefore, Willow Springs Church is committed to sound theology, biblical teaching, and Christian apologetics that strengthen believers, answer honest questions, defend the truth of the Gospel, and equip the church to live faithfully in a skeptical world.

The Family

We believe God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. Marriage is the covenant union of one man and one woman, reflecting God’s design and purpose. Parents are called to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, and the church is called to encourage and support families in faithful Christian living.

Last Things

We believe God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its proper end. Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory. The dead will be raised, Christ will judge all people in righteousness, the unrighteous will be separated from God, and the redeemed will enter into everlasting joy with the Lord in the new heaven and new earth.
